Caitlin Cook presents an hour of mixed-media comedic musical theatre about the art that keeps
us company while we’re in the pub/club/bus stop toilet.

Showing pictures on a screen of different silly phrases, words of affirmation, confessions, and,
of course, dick drawings from stalls near and far, Caitlin sings along with funny, original songs.
She interacts with the audience as if we’re all in the bathroom with her, gossiping about this girl
at the bar who always asks, “Do you guys want to do shots?!” But never pays for them. She
mentions a game of “never have I ever,” where this same girl lets everyone make admissions
about their lives and then says “I don’t know? Um, never have I ever killed a man?” Which later
leads to an emotional realization about Caitlin’s own life and what these scribbles on dirty walls
have meant to her. Everything from inspiring a lifestyle change to bringing simple joy with the
cute drawing of “dick butt.”

It’s not all dick drawings and crass phrases, I learned things about historical dicks as well!
Caitlin spends time talking about one of the papers she wrote while studying at Oxford asking
why dicks were so small in ancient Greek artworks. The answer may surprise you!

Overall, a really fun show. Caitlin is a terrific singer and performer, I’d chat with her in the toilet
any day.
