This afternoon’s performance begins by Chris regaling us with an anecdote about a friend who made a racist joke in his presence. This anecdote becomes the catalyst for a riveting hour of introspection which ponders various quandaries related to his own life and the wider world. What food should be served at a gay sauna? What are the ethics of AI? Can you really get on with a friend who you only agree with 88% of the time? 

There was so much goodwill in the room. Chris weaves a narrative while keeping his audience hanging onto his every word; navigating questions with no clearcut answers. An incredible performance from the seasoned performer in his fourth solo show here, having not missed an Edinburgh Fringe Festival since 2012 and sold out his first and second solo runs.
