Christopher Hall gives an energising performance in ‘Girl For All Seasons’.

Christopher enters the stage boasting with positivity as he dances and cheers around the stage, waking
the audience up, and the room is suddenly filled with excitement. He begins the night by discussing his
dating experiences and how living with his sister has made for some awkward excuses as to why he’s
heading out so late, and taking moments to half-share that he is embracing his ‘casual sex’ stage in life.
As the show continues, Christopher’s skill of storytelling becomes even more apparent as he shares
stories of his childhood such as convincing people in America that he knew the royal family, the history of
his role as Sebastion the crab, and the humorous aftermath of telling his mother he wanted to be Tracey
Beaker.

A highlight of the performance was Christopher’s wittiness while he speaks about getting invited to seven
weddings and how he is not just a guest, but how his sexuality warrants a different title of ‘unpaid
entertainment’ meaning he is commanded to get on the dance floor, teach people different moves, and
commit to being the life of the party.

Although the show can seem unstructured at times, Christopher exceeds in stage presence as he makes
each story come alive by engaging with the audience and re-enacting past experiences.
