Bright neon colours, jaw-dropping talent and a performance that feels like an art form in itself, Dangerous Goods brings the bold, unapologetic power of “intersectional, feminist cabaret” to the Fringe. From the producers of Hot Brown Honey, this is without a doubt an evening of entertainment. The energy is high from beginning to end. This talented cast delivers an undoubtedly world-class line-up of circus, drag, burlesque aerial and vocalists. You couldn’t look away.

The set and stage crew are cleverly used throughout. The warehouse-energy was brought to life through shipping containers and hi-vis jackets, whilst creating a bright, energetic atmosphere they also issue a warning: proceed with caution. Make no mistake, this is no ordinary cabaret show. This show delves into gender politics, cultural inclusivity and diversity with fearlessness; ‘dangerous’ ideas.

From Australian feminist theatre disruptors Lisa Fa’alafi & Leah Shelton, creators of Polytoxic, the company has been pushing boundaries for the past 25 years. And has earned numerous accolades for their work (UK’s Total Theatre Award, two Green Rooms and a Helpmann, to name a few.) Certainly, they are unafraid to shine a spotlight on the urgent issues the world continues to face. And they invite you, too, to be Dangerous.

Provocative, genre-defying, and utterly magnetic, this is a bold and unforgettable show.
