Are you a Dynamic, Young, Knowledgeable Entrepreneur? Or would you like to become one? Then boy, do I have the show for you! Strong female entrepreneurs Sally and Susan have brought their business expertise all the way from the US of A to a basement in Eedin-boro, England, to show you how you too can join the DYKE community, sell product and get filthy rich!

London-based cabaret drag double-act Fag Packet’s show is firmly ensconced in the early 90s, a time of big mobile phones and even bigger hairdos, when femininity was co-opted and commodified in advertising, popular media, Avon calls and Tupperware parties. Kheski Kobler and Holly Wilson-Guy as Sally and Susan pull from these and a myriad of other cultural touchpoints to create a pitch-perfect pastel satire of neoliberal feminism and repressed queer desire. Sally is married to Antonio, a gorgeous hunk who spends a lot of time on fishing trips with his friend Peter. Susan, on the other hand, has never been married, but is just waiting for the perfect guy to come along! A tale as old as time, the subtext of which propels the show (ahem, business conference) to an exhilarating finale that channels 90s classic Thelma and Louise and has the crowd whooping and cheering.

It is near on unbelievable that this is Fag Packet’s first Fringe: their unique and chaotic blend of cabaret, drag and character comedy slots in perfectly to the Fringe ecosystem. Kobler and Wilson-Guy are flawless physical performers with buckets of energy, perfectly in sync with each other and always ready with a high camp, winky aside. An unforgettable rollercoaster ride of highs, lows, and motorbikes.
