The standout performance comes from the actor portraying Wilf, capturing the essence of the group’s unique personalities and camaraderie.
The road trip antics add both humour and heart to the storyline, allowing the characters to undergo a journey of coping with grief while bonding in unexpected ways. The show’s strength lies in its ensemble singing, particularly when the entire group harmonizes.
As the story unfolds, Four Felons and a Funeral becomes an exploration of the stages of grief, all wrapped up in a queer rom-com road-trip musical. The LGBT-positive themes are seamlessly woven into the fabric of the show, contributing to its vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.
