One half of the comedy double act Lazy Susan alongside Celeste Dring, Freya Parker wants to make it perfectly clear to her audience that she is not in fact the porn star who shares the same name. There will be no refunds. Despite being a frequent voice on BBC Radio 4 and even with her numerous film and TV credits (which include Wonka and Jurassic World: Dominion) her mother-in-law affirming to her friends that Freya is still doing comedy with her little videos has not helped in dispelling this rumour. Additionally, the fact Freya occasionally needs to edit her IMDB page to remove credits from her namesake in the porn industry hasn’t helped prove her case. Neither do the mistaken emails or the fan mail from the incarcerated.  

Following on from her solo debut ‘It Ain’t Easy Being Cheeky’, Freya returns to the Edinburgh Fringe with her sophomore solo stand-up show, ‘An Hour Of Decay’ tackling much more pressing concerns: aging, Vinted and AI.  Freya became affronted by an image of her children which their schoolteacher had edited using a form of AI age progression. This forces her to tackle her fear of growing old. Determined to maintain a youthful glow and look and feel as young as the roles she desires to play on screen Freya Parker looks to Vinted to find the perfect getup.

Covering interesting and relatable topics, Freya Parker endears herself to her audience and for what it is worth, I really hope she secures 100,000 signatures for her campaign to supply every man with tap shoes.
