To start off, I must make it incredibly clear that I’ll be doing my best in this review to not spoil a single element of what was the easily the finest comedy show I have ever seen. 

Jordan Brookes, the record holder for the longest reigning best show winner at the Edinburgh Fringe, has really outdone himself. He makes his award winning performance from 2019 look like it was created by an entirely different performer. It is difficult to refrain from explicitly gushing about every incredibly well crafted detail at length, every moment of which was worthy of a standing ovation. Jordan Brookes is one of the best in the business, unparalleled in creativity.

The show was not very personal. But it was also about self-love and how men deal with their mental health. And a very specific nautical disaster. It’s not about much, but the scope of this show feels somehow incredibly immense.

Some crowd work adds to the exceptional details of the show as Brookes guides the audience through a wild hour that could not possibly be repeated by anyone else.

It is flawless; his best work to date.
