On the one year anniversary of the show’s conception, Kiell Smith-Bynoe (Ghosts, Taskmaster) brings us a hilarious night of improv about the audience’s own stories.

Though the cast is likely to change performance to performance, Kiell was joined on stage by fellow comedians & Edinburgh Fringe performers Emma Sidi, Lola-Rose Maxwell, Nic Sampson, Steen Raskopoulos and special guest host Matthew Baynton (Ghosts, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder).

To start the game, the special guest asks the audience to tell embarrassing stories about their lives. Tonight the stories included hooking up in a posh grocery store parking lot with an old fireman & choking on a kirby grip, getting arrested for threatening a dog over voicemail ten years after the fact, and testicles impaled by a gate.

The cast often asked for further details about the encounters before breaking into improvised scenes. In one of my favorite moments, Nic Sampson, who has trained ten years to get revenge, finds his target, Zues, the dog who stole his glove, played by Emma Sidi who acts like the most unhinged, bizarre representation of a dog you have ever seen. I’m still sore from laughing.

Improv can be hit and miss, but this cast is so talented and they played so well off of each other.
I was sad to see it end!
