Standing at 6ft 5, Lou Wall is often reminded of their tall stature. An observation made evident to them frequently by little old ladies. But where are all the tall grandmas? Are they as adept at hide and seek as Lou is? In the next hour Lou begins to uncover the mystery behind such an anomaly with the help of a variety of multimedia techniques including but not limited to PowerPoint and their signature use of catchy tunes.
From the get-go the audience is put immediately at ease by Lou’s boundless energy and stage presence. Their curiosity and meticulous attention to detail is infectious often leaving the crowd in fits of hysterics. Their innovative approach to comedy has garnered them a dedicated, loyal fanbase worldwide and it quickly becomes apparent in the room tonight.
The emotional crux of the narrative hinges on Lou recontextualising their own differences as something worth celebrating and encouraging audience members to reflect on what makes them stand out from the crowd and not be afraid to accentuate it.
A quintessentially exquisite hour of comedy which exemplifies everything you could possibly hope for in a Fringe show. The 2023 Moosehead Award Winner and 2024 Sydney Comedy Festival Best of the Festival winner has knocked it out the park once again leaving the room filled with hope, optimism and empowerment.
