Claudia finds herself ensnared in this struggle as she faces the anniversary of her father’s death, wrestling with sombre thoughts and questioning her sexual identity. Her challenges are further with many encounters with the restless spirit of Ruth, and the discomfort of wearing an unflattering sweater from her sister, once owned by Ruth.

As we follow Claudia on her path, she embarks on an introspective exploration while traversing the longest escalator in the London Underground. Ghostly apparitions intermingle with bustling tourists as Claudia endeavours to move forward. Will her journey ever lead her to ascend? 

This beautifully crafted narrative is brought to life by Claudia Fielding, under the insightful direction of Anna Rastelli. The story intricately weaves through memories and keepsakes as Claudia seeks to break free from her ongoing state of limbo. The hour unfolds swiftly, filled with the unexpected turns of this captivating tale, as Fielding evokes laughter one moment and brings the audience to the edge of tears the next.
