In 2018 Sofie Hagen was cancelled by the right wing… and the left wing. Turns out both sides will give you the cold shoulder when you call Cancer Research UK “a bunch of cunts” for posting adverts stating that obesity causes cancer. The right was upset that Sofie attacked a charity working to cure cancer and the left was upset she used “cunt” as a slur. You just can’t win! 

Sofie Hagan has been doing stand-up comedy for sixteen years and she’s spent a majority of that time trying to be as feminist, woke, and leftist as possible. Even though she’s fought in the trenches as a social justice warrior, facism is still taking over the world and now she’s had to move back in with her mum at age thirty-seven. How will she explain to her imaginary grandchildren that she failed to save the world with her feminist tweets?? 

I Think Some of This Is My Fault is a terrifically crafted show filled with punchy jokes, an honest analysis of what it means to be an activist, and stories of (quite possibly) the most interesting mayor in Denmark. Sofie Hagan is able to take the piss out of herself while commenting on the reality that no matter how good you try to be, you’re never going to please everyone, but who cares?
