Ben Hart bursts on to the stage from the back of the room. A large crowd has gathered and flocked to near the front to be in with a chance of being part of the show. There are obvious fans and followers and anticipation is high. The quirky venue adds to the excitement.

Ben is immediately likeable and personable. He moves around with ease and has a genuine way of connecting with the crowd. Starting with a Scottish ‘Glass-Go’ impressive whisky trick and play on words he has the audience on side, impressed and amazed from the outset.

His routine is enjoyable and relatable to all. Handling cynics well and mixing up the variety it mostly seems to be easy for Ben. Audiences set the bar high for magic and he smashes it with genuine ‘how did he do that?’ moments. He is quick witted and funny with it.

Perhaps the most interesting element is what seems to be Ben’s ability to read minds, create illusions and even make you question whether you are awake or dreaming. Time after time there were gasps from the audience as he recited information he couldn’t possibly know.

Ben has come up with his own brand of performance. He is able to baffle the crowds in style, build a crescendo and leave them wanting more!
