Tom Brace is trying to get into the Magic Hall of Fame, alongside legends like Harry Houdini, Derren Brown, David Blaine, Pen & Teller, and Sooty the Bear. But how? Luckily, Brace has found just the trick to get him into the big magician book of legends: he’ll saw himself in half! 

However, one cannot simply saw themselves in half and suddenly be heralded amongst the greats! According to the Magic Hall of Fame website, the magician needs to meet certain criteria to be granted entry into their hallowed hall. To meet these magical requirements, Brace performed a series of tricks leading up to the great finale. 

Some of the most impressive tricks involved numbers, one specifically placed a random man from the audience in a self tanning tent filled with lottery balls and a leaf blower. The outcome was both hysterical to watch and bewilderingly impressive, I’m still not sure how he pulled it off!

Tom Brace Saws Himself in Half is an incredibly funny show with some truly baffling magic tricks. The show was filled with visual gags and improvisation that was unexpected and only added to the silliness of the script. Some of the tricks didn’t quite have the same punch as others, or felt a little anticlimactic. Most, however, succeeding in impressing and entertaining.
