A wild, immersive theatrical experience. As chaotic as it is entertaining, Worm Teeth draws you into an unsettling world where audience interaction is not just encouraged – it’s essential. Be prepared!

The narrative follows a bizarre quest of a worm, desperately seeking to acquire a pair of teeth. The journey takes the worm through a dark and twisted forest, where it attempts to steal teeth from a dead snake. The worm then encounters a tooth fairy with a ‘fairy dust’ addiction. The story is as surreal as it sounds, exploring themes of identity, morality and perhaps even self-improvement.

Aurora Behlke’s live music sets the tone right from the start, creating an atmosphere that is both unsettling and emotionally charged. The music doesn’t just accompany the action; it interacts with it, weaving between the audience’s conscience and unconsciousness.

Sango Tajima’s portrayal of the dentist is another standout element of the show. Tajima brings a spiraling madness to the character, who believes that teeth are the root of all evil and health problems. The dentist’s gruesome, bloody demise, after pulling out all of their teeth, is both horrifying and captivating—a performance that leaves a lasting impact.

The duo of Alexandra Hess and Abrah Ophelia Katzman brings the story to life with remarkable versatility. Hess’s portrayal of the Worm is both endearing and unsettling, perfectly capturing the character’s innocent yet creepy pursuit. Katzman, on the other hand, shines in her multiple roles, seamlessly transitioning between the characters of Frog, Foxy, and the Tooth Fairy through impressive vocal changes and costume transformations. Their performances add layers of depth and dark humour to the story.

Worm Teeth is a unique theatrical experience that successfully blends absurdity with profound themes, leaving the audience both entertained and unsettled.
